Yung Miami Defends Writing Letter To Judge In Support Of Diddy, Says He’s A ‘Changed Man’

#YungMiami is speaking out about the backlash she faced after submitting a character letter for Sean “Diddy” Combs ahead of his sentencing.

In a newly aired interview with Charlamagne Tha God, she addressed the criticism for supporting Diddy during the height of his racketeering and s3x trafficking trial, revealing it cost her several opportunities. “I think I wrote a letter for a changed man,” she said. “I’m not gonna justify some bullsh*t or support some bullsh*t… I felt like the person that I met was changed. It was a different experience, so that’s why I wrote the letter.”

In that letter, submitted after footage surfaced of Diddy abusing #CassieVentura, Miami described him as “loving, genuine, supportive, and always encouraging,” crediting him with helping her grow personally and professionally. Echoing that sentiment in the interview, she added, “I can’t speak to nothing that I don’t know of… I can only speak to the person that I met,” noting he “treated me like a queen” and made her believe in herself. She also admitted her loyalty came at a cost, saying she lost money, deals, and relationships.

#Diddy was ultimately found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in pro$titution and sentenced to four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
