Tiger Woods Fights Attempts To Subpoena His Pharmacy Records, Wants Them Kept Out Of DUI Case
#TigerWoods is pushing back against efforts by prosecutors to obtain his pharmacy records as part of his ongoing DUI case in Florida.
His attorney has formally objected to the subpoena, arguing that the request for detailed prescription history—including dosages, refill frequency, and instructions—raises serious privacy concerns and may not be relevant to the criminal investigation. Woods has pleaded not guilty to the charges stemming from a late-March rollover crash.
In court filings, his lawyer emphasized that while privacy rights are not absolute, the state must first prove the records are necessary. The defense is now requesting a hearing to challenge the subpoena and determine whether the records should be released at all.
The legal battle comes as authorities previously noted signs of impairment at the scene, where Woods was found with pills in his possession following the crash.
