Pharrell Williams’ contagious song, ‘Happy’ made its way to Los Angeles, Sunday night at the 86th Academy Awards. The song, produced for Despicable Me 2, is nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. The song was written and produced by the 40-year-old artist. It was initially released on November 21, 2013 alongside a long-form music video presented via the website 24hoursofhappy.com. Similar to the video, Pharrell took to the Oscar stage, bubbling with exactly what the track instructed:

Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof // Because I’m happy // Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth // Because I’m happy // Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I’m happy // Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do
