Promoting her new Hardcore mixtape, rapper Lil Kim (real name Kimberly Jones) has been in full promo mode. This week, she stopped by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, giving radio listeners a transparent conversation about her new project and a bit of controversy. It’s no secret, there’s no love lost between Kim and Nicki Minaj. During the interview, Kim reveals that she (and her manager Fendi) are working on a documentary that will address how the beef began. Kim also reacts to the latest verbal jabs taken by singer K.Michelle (click here for the backstory). Kim also notes that while she loves Beyonce, she is the original Queen Bee!

I believe Kim’s explaination about K. Michelle. K. Michelle is a nut basket and she is always starting some type of drama. Give it a rest K., you and your hot pocket.
I know she’s gone through ups and downs in her career…but at the end of the day….Lil Kim is one of the greatest that’s ever done it. “Wanna rumble with the B, huh?” lol…#classic
Now I have always rocked with Kim even back to her Junior Mafia days. Kim was my original ride or die chick back in the early 90’s. But I need her to stop commenting on this Niki Minaj foolishness and focus on her music – let her music speak for her. She should not do anymore interviews regarding Niki Minaj. It makes her appear “some type of way” that I don’t like. I’ve heard Niki tell her side of the story and I hear Kim with her version. And honestly, Niki’s side sounds a lot more sensible than Kim’s. At the end of the day, GET MONEY. If she did a collaboration with Niki do you know how hot that would be? Smh…why all the division? Who cares if you feel you were the original or not? Your ego is not helping your pockets get bigger. If you feel she is copying you then be flattered. Let the competition (Niki) inspire you to get back out there and set the female rap game on fire. But all this negative venom is not going to produce a fruitful tree.
