[EXCLUSIVE] Young Jeezy Hit With New Lawsuit, Over Alleged Music Theft
Young Jeezy (real name Jay Wayne Jenkins ) is involved in yet another lawsuit accusing him of stealing music. Last month, we reported that Bishop T.D. Jakes was taking legal action against the 37-year-old rapper over the song ‘Holy Ghost’.
And now, theJasmineBRAND.com has exclusively learned that he has been accused of stealing another rappers music to create his hit song “Me Ok” — resulting in a federal lawsuit over the alleged theft.
A hip hop artist named Christopher Syrrakos filed a federal lawsuit against Young Jeezy, Def Jam Records and Universal Music.
The man explains that he is a musician and record producer based in Wisconsin. He says he created a song entitled “13 Shots” and released it in 2009 on his album “Big Chris Uncut“. Syrrakos says he had the song copyrighted in 2014.
