‘R&B Divas’ Angie Stone Arrested, Allegedly Knocked Out Daughter’s Teeth

Angie Stone (real name Angela Brown) is in trouble with the law. The R&B Divas Atlanta reality star/Grammy-nominated singer was arrested in DeKalb County, after police say she struck her 30-year-old daughter with a metal stand and knocked out the woman’s front teeth.

According to a DeKalb County police incident report, Angie struck her daughter, Diamond Stone, and hit her in the face with closed fists first. Diamond Stone and Blondy Chisolm, a family friend who witnessed the Monday night altercation, told police they were not sure who threw the first blow.
The spat, according to Diamond, started when Angie Stone entered her daughter’s room, demanded that she clean it up and ordered her to control her children, who were running around the singer’s Rogers Lake Road home half naked. Police state in the report:

Amen…I totally agree. If she’s in her mothers house she got to go by her mothers rules and if her mom said clean up & get yo kids then you need to do that or get out. She too old to be at home anyway with kids. smh – Angie is right in this situation.
Agreed. I read conflicting stories that say Angie was defending herself and really didn’t mean to hit her in the mouth. But either way, that’s what she gets. Giving your mother a bunch of crap and having the audacity to hit her over something that she was clearly right about…who does that?! RACHET! I would’ve knocked her into next week too! Angie needs to put her butt out and let her feel that. I feel sorry for the children though.
Grown folks need their own space. If you are rude and disrespectful you get your teeth knocked out. I’m scared of my mother to this day and I’m 56. She don’t play and means what she says.
