Anyone with EARS can hear that they clearly STOLE THAT SONG. The Gaye family, particularly Marvin’s oldest son, is the legendary Berry Gordy’s nephew. This is NOT a case of a “greedy family” of loafers who are just out for money. They’ve been around the music biz for awhile now and know the ends and out of musicians ripping off beats to make a song. Pharrell and Robin Thicke even SAID they were “inspired” by the song…which is musician speak for stealing it. GOT TO GIVE IT UP!
@ Mama – – I agree. I grew up on Marvin Gaye and the minute I heard the song – – it was copied! This Sh$@ they are playing now is not music. They can sample a beat and say its original. You can tell we have lost generation(s) – – these kids glorify them. Boy(s)-Bye!!!! I hope she get every penny and more. George Clinton need to do the same thing – -sue them!
