Suge Knight Drops Million Dollar Lawsuit Against Kanye West

According to the Associated Press, Suge Knight has dropped his appeal in a lawsuit he filed against Kanye West over a shooting that took place in 2005, in Miami. The backstory is: an unnamed dude packing came to a party at Miami’s Shore Club and shot Knight in the leg. The party was hosted by Kanye West. The bullet shattered his femur costing him over $200,000 in doctors fees and he sought total damages over $1 million. Knight blamed Kanye’s piss-poor (my words, not his) security. Last year in court, at the deposition, West allegedly refused to offer any information to Knight’s legal team during the six-hour proceedings and denied he had any involvement in the security arrangements. But now, both sides have reached a confidential agreement to settle court costs.
