Martha Stewart & Snoop Have A New VH1 Show
The new programming continues for VH1. Today, the network announced their new unscripted series, Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party. As the title suggests, the weekly series stars Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. The show will feature the lifestyle expert and Emmy-winning TV host and rapper-producer Snoop Dogg throwing a weekly dinner party. Inviting their celebrity friends over for this taped event, the network describes the show as,
A half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation and fun where nothing is off limits.
Stewart says,
At our dinner party, we will exemplify America’s fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity. Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way.
Snoop adds,
My homegirl, Martha, and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!
The series airs this fall. It is created and exec produced by Stewart and Kim Miller Olko for Sequential Brands Group, Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung for Merry Jane and SallyAnn Salsano for 495 Productions (Jersey Shore). VH1’s Nina L. Diaz, Trevor Rose, Paul Ricci, Fernando Mills and Paula Aranda will executive produce for the cabler.
