Mary J. Blige’s Estranged Husband Kendu Isaacs Wants Spousal Support
Things have the potention to get legally messy between Mary J. Blige and her estranged husband/manager, Kendu Isaacs. According to a new report, Kendu wants spousal support. He also wants the legendary singer to pay court costs and lawyer fees. Neither have publicly discussed their split. As previously reported, this summer it was announced that after 12 years of marriage, they were divorcing. Blige filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
It is has been reported that Blige has no interest in paying spousal support. No word on whether or not they have a prenup.

Sorry Mary, but men have to pay support all the time. You shouldn’t be excluded from spousal support because you’re a woman or “Mary.” Yes, I’m a women.
Why does he need spousal support? Is he unable to work? Did he give up a career during their marriage? Was he at home raising a child while she was working? These are some of the reasons women get spousal support . . . not sure why he would be entitled.
I believe it is because he will no longer earn money as her manager after the divorce. Thus he needs support until when/if he picks up work. She was the bread winner in the family.
I mean, sure alimony goes both ways but it kind of sickens me when men ask the woman for support. Doesn’t quite fit in with the definition of a man I like to go by.
I think she should pay him a lump sum and be over with it. They were married for 12 years I’m sure if she was the bread winner the judge will see to it that he can maintain a lifestyle he is accustomed to. And isn’t he her manager? So not only do they have material things to divide but also business dealings. It’s a mess.
Well see what happens. I always thought Kendu was a loser. If she’s divorcing him because he cheated on her that is going to change things
