Night Life Hustlin’….Drake Skips One DC Club, For Another

This happens in every major city where a huge nightlife scene is present. A promoter will tweet that Artist X is going to show up, Artist X never arrives and club-goers get pissy. Folks point the finger and it happens over and over again. As was the case on Saturday, May 14, in Washington, DC. Folks had been promoting that rapper Drake was to appear at DC’s Ibiza nightclub and non-surprisingly he never showed. Drake actually confirmed that he was NOT appearing at Ibiza and tweeted, “I am not at club Ibiza in DC tonight. That was false promotion.” To people’s surprise, Drake later showed up at DC’s Park at Fourteenth and partied the evening away. Yikes, if you were at Ibiza. Dope, if you were at Park at Fourteenth.
