Taxstone Indicted For Murder
Taxstone (real name Daryl Campbell) has been indicted for the murder of Troy Ave’s bodyguard during a tragic shootout that took place May 25, 2016, at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza.
The popular hip-hop podcaster was charged with second degree murder for the fatal shooting of 33-year-old Ronald McPhatter, during a confrontation between Taxstone and Troy Ave. As previously reported, Troy Ave sometimes hired McPhatter as a bodyguard. He pleaded not guilty during the Thursday afternoon hearing.

The charges came more than a year after the brawl inside a VIP room at the Union Square venue that left McPhatter dead and Troy Ave wounded along and two bystanders. Click here for the backstory. Lawyers for Taxstone and Troy Ave have yet to comment.
