Donald Trump Trashes Jemele Hill After ESPN Suspends Her
Trump Trashes Hill & ESPN On Twitter
The president seems to be pleased that ESPN has suspended Jemele Hill. Less than 24 hours after the network made the announcement, Donald Trump tweeted:
With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have “tanked,” in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!
The network said in a statement,
Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines.
Initially, it was reported that her suspension was over her referring to the president as a ‘white supremacist’. However, it is now being reported that she was suspended for her tweets suggesting her followers boycott advertisers of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. She made the suggestion in response to Jones’ threaten to bench any player who takes a knee during the national anthem.
See her tweets below which are said to have caused the suspension.
