Joseline Hernandez Says Motherhood Changed Her Life: No drugs, no alcohol, no nothing.
Joseline Hernandez Talks Motherhood, Love & Music
Reality star, Joseline Hernandez has been laying low from headlines for the latter part of the year. Back in June, the reality star caused a firestorm due to some controversial comments she made in regards to the Love & Hip Hop franchise, and executive producer, Mona Scott-Young. While fans still await to see if Hernandez will make a comeback to LHHATL, one thing is for sure: the self-proclaimed “Puerto Rican Princess” is back in the studio, and family court.
As of late, Hernandez has been stirring away from the drama of her personal life and has been putting her main focus on her career. The new mother recently released her new single titled “Run Me My Money,” and has been hitting radio stations and strip clubs to help draw attention to the new single. In a new interview, Hernandez dishes on the difference in strippers, music, dating bi-sexual men and being in love again. Peep the excerpts below.
On what she admires about female entrepreneurs:
I respect any woman that’s gone work. And what I respect even more is when women who’ve been in the street, who didn’t have to sell their soul; they really worked for their shit. That’s the only thing I respect.
The difference between strippers back then and now:
We never took our clothes off on IG [Instagram]. When we were stripping, it wasn’t no IG. We had MySpace, and we wasn’t ass shaking on there. That’s not what classy women do.
Always knowing she was going to be an artist:
Back to Puerto Rico when I was five, I knew I was going to be an artist. I just knew I was going to be Selena. I go to music school. My school teacher is Betty Wright. Tuition is f-cking high. I moved back to Miami just to go to music school because my sound is in Miami; its tropical.
On people in society:
I f-ck with real people; its all about realness. And I think the world we live in, its so many copy caters. Everybody wanna be the same, everybody wanna look the same. Its not about the look, too. Its about the swag. Everybody on the same wave, but everybody can’t [be].
What dating is like for her:
I mean a had a couple of nig-as, thats in the game – thats like big – you know music nig-a(s). I’m a fly bi-ch. I’m not a girl thats just been like, ‘Ooo, I want that nig-a.’ I ain’t never been that girl. But a man, I need a real man. I got a dude that build houses.
If she wants to be a relationship:
You know, I don’t really want no nig-a. I’m so focused in this music. And this motherhood, and this Puerto Rican foundation. Getting to Puerto Rico to bring food and awareness. My energies is put in so many things than being with a man. If I just wanna get my rocks off, I know where my pus-y and my finger is.
Women being with men who don’t treat them right:
If they [men] not gone treat you like 100% ladies, then you all don’t need to be with him. I’m speaking from a place where I’ve been in a relationship with a man, and now I got a baby that I’m not with.
How having daughter Bonnie Bella changed her life:
It made me better. When I was pregnant for 37 weeks (8.5 months), that’s a place of stillness; no drugs, no alcohol, no nothing. The yoga what I practiced. Pregnancy taught me how more greater I can become. Motherhood changes you, its like everything is so clear.
On dating people of certain zodiac signs:
I’m only going to date Pisces. Taurus’ I can fuck with. Its certain signs that can match my swaggy swaggy.
If she would date bi-sexual men:
I can never say never. But, it can a problem in my thoughts, I’m so dominant, but the masculine side of him might get lost in my thoughts, and that might become a problem.
If she is ready to fall in love again:
I just don’t wanna be slowed down. I’m too suave – I’m on auto-pilot. I don’t need you fuc-ing up my wave.
On relationships:
I mean, I was in a relationship with a guy for seven years; y’all seen me. I’m fully capable of doing it. But here is the thing, being in a relationship you got to give a lot, and that person has to give you a lot; you have to compromise. You can’t be 100% who you are. If you could, we would all be married. Its a lot of give and take.
On the best head she’s ever had:
Dime Piece [Jessica Dime] got the best head I’ve ever had in my life.
On future plans for TV:
I like to put bitches on. Talent is what I do – find talent. I’mgoing to make music and be a boss anyway. So producing another show, I want to see ladies. A lot of ladies scream that women empowerment sh-t, but that sh-t don’t be real. And let me tell you why: they like to deal with women who can kiss their ass and be human toilet tissues. I don’t respect that. What I respect is that you put bitches on that acquire that type of respect.
