Speedy Claxton – I Had No Idea My Home Was Being Foreclosed On

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that Speedy Claxton says he was unaware that his home was in foreclosure. The former NBA star, who was married to ex Basketball Wives star Meeka Claxton, filed docs in the case explaining he was never served with the court docs. The 39-year-old retired baller is a basketball coach and says he wasn’t at the home on the night they claim he was served because he was coaching.

Here’s the backstory: Speedy was hit with a 2nd lawsuit demanding foreclosure of a New York home, with the bank demanding he pay the $630k he owes them. The Bank of New York sued Claxton explaining he took out a $540k mortgage back in 2007. The note was used to purchase a home in far Rockaway, NY. However, they accused him of defaulting on the loan by failing to make any payment since March 2015.

The bank is demanding the court allow them to foreclosure on Claxton’s property, force him out of the property and sell off the home at public auction.

Aside from this suit, Claxton recently lost a separate foreclosure suit with a bank over a home on the same street as the home currently at risk of being taken from him.

How did he not know his mortgage wasn’t being paid since 2015?! That would be a nice chunk of cash coming out of your account each month!

Your blog is a being used as a pawn for a horrible bank that could have sold the house but, want to receive more than its worth! No one in their right mind would do this when the law is very clear on what the Bank is entitled to. I have sold investment homes for Millionaires before. I know the way it works! You have no ideal what the actual story is and truth is if this were not true, about the sewer service which is the actual term, the auction sale would have been completed! It’s sad when a blog that has mainly minority viewers doesn’t even bother to find out a full story. Even worse. Defends a bank that has such a shoddy track record and preys on minorities! If u want to write a real story. Google the mortgage company that holds this lien. Check the BBB for their rating and recognize, they aren’t registered with the BBB bc they have done so much grimy stuff, they could never get a decent rating. I have little to no ideal what your motivation is in posting this article. But u need to stop doin Massa’s work for him.

And your article is inaccurate. No property on this block owned by Mr. Claxton has been Foreclosed upon. You need to change that before you face a lawsuit yourself.
