Barack & Michelle Obama In Talks With Netflix
Rumor has it, Netflix is handing out more deals. According to reports, the streaming service is in advanced talks with former president Barack Obama to produce original series in what would be his first big move after exiting the White House in 2017.
The deal would also include his wife and former first lady Michelle Obama. The dealĀ would include the pair producing a series of “high-profile shows”.
As of January 2018, Netflix had 117.58 million paying subscribers worldwide, including 54.75 million in the United States.
The company made headlines earlier this year, when comedian and actress Mo’Nique accused them of gender bias and color bias after allegedly offering her an extremely low offer for a comedy special.
Obama’s camp or Netflix has yet to comment.
