Ledisi returned home to New Orleans for a very special occasion. Not only was the soul singer performing at the 2018 Essence Fest, she was also marrying the love of her life and best friend, photographer Ron T. Young.

Ledisi, who is often very private about her personal life, did not share many details about her marriage. The couple did, however, post a photo on Instagram with matching captions reading,

The last time I was home in #nola I had a party with my best friend. #alltheway.

Following the nuptials, Ledisi went on to rock the Essence Fest stage. Now, that’s how you end a spectacular week.
