Robin Thicke’s Girlfriend Defends Being Pregnant w/ Singer’s 2nd Child – Women Don’t Need To Be Married Before Having Kids!

Singer Robin Thicke’s 24-year-old girlfriend, April Geary, wants trolls and critics to know they’re in it for the long haul.

Robin and ex-wife, actress Paula Patton, divorced in 2014, and April and Robin have been in a relationship since that same year. Robin and April have since had a daughter, Mia Love Thicke, who is 6 months old. Well, the couple sure didn’t waste any time. Robin posted an Instagram video, revealing a brand new pregnancy. He said:

“@robinthicke ‘They said we couldn’t make another anthem, so we went and made another anthem!’ Thank you April!”

Since the baby announcement, April has received backlash about having two children before marriage to Robin. She clapped back on her Instagram story. She says:

“We’re in 2018. Not the 1950’s. Women don’t NEED to get married before having babies. Y’all need to chill”

She continued:

“Why are women so obsessed with telling me I need a ring? Getting married is the easy part, seeing how you are together AFTER having babies is the hard part.”

Well, April sure doesn’t have a problem testing out that theory. In fact, this isn’t her second pregnancy. April recently revealed that before baby Mia was conceived, she and Robin, 41, experienced a miscarriage. She shared:

“I had one before Mia. But I’m not scared, worrying or stressing out too much isn’t good for the baby. Life happens and we can’t control everything.”

Robin’s first born is taking after his dad. He posted he and Paula’s son, Julia, 8, singing beautifully at his school talent show. Robin said:

“@robinthicke Julian singing “Amazing Grace” at school talent show in May. Just like Aretha Franklin!”
