Gloria Govan Will NOT Face Felony Child Endangerment Charges After Dispute W/ Matt Barnes Over Kids
Last month, Gloria Govan was arrested after she allegedly flew into a rage at her sons’ school and blocked Matt Barnes and their twin boys with her car. The alleged dispute was over who had custody of the boys on Labor Day weekend. According to the former NBA star, it was his time. However, the ex Basketball Wives star says she asked her lawyer in advance to notify Matt’s lawyer that Labor Day weekend was hers.
Following the incident, Matt got a restraining order against Gloria, forcing her to stay at least 100 yards from him and the boys.
In court, Gloria denied that she drove recklessly to block Matt from picking their sons up from school. The L.A. County D.A. was not able to find sufficient evidence to backup Matt’s claims and decided to drop the charges.
After months of battling it out in court, the former couple are reportedly nearing a final decision as it pertains to custody of their sons. No matter the outcome, let’s all wish the best for the children involved.
