Don’t play with Cardi B and her politics! An avid fan of political and presidential history, Cardi has been educating fans and followers with her own theories about president Donald Trump and the negative effects of the current government shutdown. She’s posted lengthy, relatable P.S.A.s on social media, including the following:

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was later ridiculed by social media users, saying she didn’t know enough about politics to school anyone. In response, she told them to educate themselves. Her caption read:

“@iamcardib Soo many people under my comments talking about I shouldn’t talk politics ,I don’t know what I’m talking about , I’m dumb ! Well I know alittle something something..I know 800,000 federal government workers won’t be getting paid till the shutdown is over and government assistants program are shutdown as well as in NO WELFARE , NO WIC,SECTION 8 .I know it’s a little boring to watch the news but it won’t kill ya to visit some IG pages of people that talk about what’s going on in our community like @shaunking @tamikadmallory and shiiieeett sometimes uncle snoop and Charlamgne be saying some shit that goes over ya heads .PAY ATTENTION !!! This can go on for months and it will affect our homes and Country .”

In fact, Cardi B used her intelligence to criticize Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren after she made a negative comment about Cardi’s political knowledge. Tomi tagged Cardi B, tweeting:

“Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius politcal mind to endorse the Democrats. HA! Keep it up, guys! #MAGA2020”

Cardi promptly responded:

“Leave me alone I will dog walk you .”

Oop! But Tomi, wasn’t done. She continued to question Cardi’s intelligence. She tweeted:

“I’m sure you would. Still doesn’t make your political rambling and less moronic. #BuildthatWall”

Cardi attributed Tomi’s attacks to racism. She responded:

“You’re so blinded with racism that you don’t even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much .You are a perfcect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!”

A Trump supporter later insinuated that Cardi’s support of the Democratic party would lead him to needing insurance assistance. @chris85pavone tweeted:

“@iamcardib you gonna pay for my insurance? And do I get to pick my doctor and my own plan?”

Cardi responded:

“Im paying about 4 million in taxes this year so most likely I am Paying for your insurance ….That’s if your favorite president don’t take my tax money for his will Mr white bread .”
