Oprah Teases Possibility of Rebooting Her Talk Show
“Oh-oh-Oprah!” Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey is teasing the possibility of bringing “The Oprah Winfrey Show” back. While promoting her latest book, “The Path Made Clear” in Toronto, the 65-year-old hinted at that she misses her daily 4PM couch chats.
She said this about a reboot:
“I would love to make that happen, let me tell you. But maybe not every day. For 25 years, it was perfect.”
Oprah admits that when a story explodes in the news, she wishes the “Oprah Show” was still around to weigh in on it. She said:
“The only time I missed it was during the election or when something really big happens in the news. I think, ‘Oh gee, I wish I had a show.'”
She recalled her thoughts when she first flew into Chicago to start her beloved talk show:
“My path became clear the moment, I remember it actually, when I flew into Chicago. I thought, ‘If the show isn’t successful, then I’m going to go into advertising or I’m gonna do something else.’ I remember thinking, ‘I’m gonna find a way to make this my home.'”
