Mariah Carey Says She’s Only Been With 5 Men In Her Life ‘I’m Kind Of A Prude, Honestly’

Mariah Carey said she can count the amount of lovers she had on one hand. She opened up recently about her love life, including her long-time boyfriend Bryan Tanaka.

“I haven’t had that many, but there has been a variety pack. I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field.”

As for her history, she’s currently dating Tanaka, her background dancer. They started dating in 2017. Before that, she was engaged to billionaire James Packer. They dated from 2014-2016 and called it quits shortly after he popped the question.

Prior to Packer, Carey was married to Nick Cannon. The two have eight-year-old twins Monroe and Moroe.

She also dished on that epic 2016 New Year’s Eve performance where she had a sound issue and didn’t want to sing along with the track.

“If people think that’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, then first of all, they haven’t studied my career well enough. After what I’ve been through, who really gives a sh*t if my monitor broke, fell off, came out of my ears because the stupid robe was too loose? These things happen and it’s over. My true fans stick with me, and the rest of the people will get over it.”

As for what she had to say about other singers, she threw shade like only she can.

“A lot of artists say they write, but they don’t really write. No offense to anybody. That’s just what I’ve seen. A lot of girls are just nude in front of everybody. No offense to them.”

She also shared her thoughts on the current state of music videos.

“They don’t do $2 million videos anymore. Anybody can make a video now.”
