R. Kelly’s Live-In Girlfriends Release Video, Insisting They’re Still Living Comfortably In His Chicago Apartment: We Want To Say Thank You To Robert’s Fans!

The live-in girlfriends of singer R. Kelly – Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary – are becoming more vocal as their man’s federal cases unfold. The public was introduced to the 23-year-old and 21-year-old when the bombshell Lifetime docu-series, “Surviving R. Kelly,” premiered this past January. Both Joycelyn’s and Azriel’s parents gave desperate pleas for their daughters to return home, accusing R. Kelly of holding them against their will. The young women have, since, appeared in his defense in an explosive interview with Gayle King.

Despite the fact that the R&B veteran was recently arrested on two federal indictments of sex trafficking and obstruction of justice, Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary want the world to know that they are still living comfortably in R. Kelly’s Trump Towers apartment. Rumors previously swirled that they’d been evicted from the premises. A rep released this video from the women. See the exchange below.

“Azriel Clary: We actually just read an article saying that we were evicted from the Trump, and sayign that we were under emergency living and all kinds of stuff like that. We just wanted to let you guys know that that is not true…we’re here at the Trump, and Joy’s parents are all over social media.

Joycelyn Savage: Yeah, they know where I’m at.

Azriel: We’ve been here for years. We move freely, we come and go freely. We actually just left this morning and no one said anything to us. You know, no one stopped us, no one harrassed us or anything like that. So we wanted to clear that up and let you guys know that that is fake news – and do not believe everything that you hear. Other than that, we wanna say thank you to all of Robert’s fans…”

Their video seemed to be a direct message to Joycelyn Savage’s parents – Timothy and Jonjelyn – who recently confronted R. Kelly’s publicist, Darrell Johnson, during a press conference regarding his arrest. The parents’ urgency could be attributed to rumors that Joycelyn and Azriel had agreed to a suicide pact had R. Kelly been convicted.
