Sela Vave Is Reportedly Living W/ Jamie Foxx, While Being Mentored + Both Continue To Shut Down Dating Rumors

Sela Vave has broken her silence on speculation that she’s dating award-winning actor and singer Jamie Foxx.  She posted a video of Foxx, who has already made a statement that he’s only helping Vave with her music career. After rumors claimed that Vave has moved into Foxx’s mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, he pointed out people like Ed Sheeran, Nick Cannon and NeYo who he’s also helped in the past. He said some have even slept on his couch.

“I did the same thing with her… She’s on my steps singing Beyonce on the guitar. So we took her under our wing. And if you do your background history as opposed to scandal chasing, I introduced her as my new artist… We wanted to treat her the same way and give her an opportunity. There’s a double standard when it comes to women. But we’re gonna protect our own.”

Vave added the caption,

“For the people who care… here is the TRUE story(swipe)… for everyone else you can keep talking and calling me a wh*re, sl*t, homewrecker, thot, gold digger, that I should die, and what ever else you want. Because it doesn’t matter to me, I’m out here to work and do what I love most. #music#killthedoublestandard“

Rumors of Foxx and Vave dating sparked over the weekend, shortly after reports revealed he broke up with Katie Holmes after six years.

Vave seemed to fuel rumors after many realized Foxx was on her Instagram multiple times.

Foxx also denied he was dating Vave earlier this week.

“People are saying I’m dating the girl, let me just say this, that’s absolutely not true! That girl hangs out with my kids. My young daughter loves her, my oldest daughter loves her… I talk to her mom, her parents… I know the nature of the business that we’re in, so I don’t trip on headlines, you know what I’m saying, I don’t trip on that.”

“I got a twenty-five year old daughter and I don’t date in my daughters range…ever! I always try to make sure that my daughter can look and me say, ‘Hey dad, you ain’t screwing up.’ I wanted to be able to address that.”
