Second Person Arrested In Connection To Mac Miller’s Death
Police in Arizona have arrested another man who they believe is linked to Mac Miller’s tragic passing.
Mac Miller passed away on Sept. 7, 2018. He was 26-years-old. Autopsy results determined he accidentally overdosed. He had fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol in his system.
Thirty-six-year-old Ryan Reavis of Lake Havasu City, Arizona was taken into custody following an FBI and DEA investigation into Miller’s death. Authorities acquired a search warrant into Reavis‘ home and discovered drugs, such as prescription-only pills and marijuana. Interestingly enough, a doctor’s prescription pad was also on the property, along with firearms like a 9mm pistol and two shotguns. Police also found a homemade firearm suppressor along with lots of ammo.
Reavis’ arrest comes just weeks after the arrest of Cameron James Pettit, who was accused of giving Miller the fatal counterfeit oxycodone pills that had cocaine, fentanyl, and Xanax that are said to have killed him.

A 42-page criminal report given to the Central District of California detailed text messages that possibly prove Pettit is guilty. If convicted, Pettit could get 20 years behind bars.
U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna said of the case,
“We are aggressively targeting drug dealers responsible for trafficking illicit fentanyl, which has become the most deadly facet of the opioid epidemic. We are committed to slowing the number of overdose deaths and prosecuting those responsible for spreading this most dangerous opioid.”
“Fentanyl disguised as a genuine pharmaceutical is a killer, which is being proven every day in America. Drugs laced with cheap and potent fentanyl are increasingly common, and we owe it to the victims and their families to aggressively target the drug dealers that cause these overdose deaths.”
