HIV Positive Case in Los Angeles, Shuts Down Porn Production

Monday, many of the adult film productions across Los Angeles closed, due to one of their adult film performers testing HIV positive. The Free Speech Coalition, a porn industry trade group, became aware of the HIV case on Saturday. Diane Duke, the executive director, shared:
“Until we know for sure, we’ve asked the industry to have a moratorium on production….Retesting and confirmation is underway as is the process of identifying and testing first- and second- generation partners.”
Duke said she could not release the performer’s name, age or gender and that further testing will likely be completed within a week. Peep the full story here.
