Michelle Obama Shows Off Her Workout Routine: I’m Always Glad I Hit The Gym
Former First Lady, Michelle Obama took to her Instagram over the weekend (Oct. 20th), sharing her workout routine baring her abs in a black sports bra and matching leggings while encouraging self-care. In her photo, the 55-year-old former First Lady lifts a black exercise ball while capturing her best pilate pose, squatting at the gym. The wife and mother of two writes,
”It doesn’t always feel good in the moment. But after the fact, I’m always glad I hit the gym. How did you all take care of yourself?”

She adds the a hashtag to dedicate for self-care,
#SelfCareSunday
The best-selling author has continued her advocacy since leaving the White House since 2017. In a recent appearance, the ‘Becoming,’ author was interviewed on stage by CBS News anchor Gayle King. She touched on women’s need to “un-train” each other when it comes to putting their wellness last.
“We [as women] have to own our health. It’s one of these things that no one can take from you. When it comes to our health as women, we are so busy giving and doing for others that we almost feel guilty to take that time out for ourselves.”
As previously reported, Mrs. Obama teamed up with Kate Hudson, Mila Kunis, Melissa McCarthy, Lena Waithe and Allison Janney for some fun with the dodgeball Team USA. They took on Team UK that included Reggie Watts, Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch, and John Bradley.
Of course Team USA took the win for after Mrs. Obama hit Styles in the most hilarious place possible.
