Lamar Odom: I Fell In Love With Khloe Kardashian While I Was With Taraji P. Henson

Lamar Odom has a new woman in his life, Sabrina Parr, but he’s still dishing on his past famous flames.

Lamar Odom recently revealed that he actually caught feelings for reality star Khloe Kardashian while he was dating award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson. He said,

“I wish I would have done things different with her. She was a little older than me, but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship as a grown-up that I had with a Black woman. I used to carry her picture on the road with me. Don’t nobody know that, except for the dudes that played with me. She gave me inspiration. A Black woman working like that… that’s just as good with her craft as I am in my craft.”

The former L.A. Lakers player went on to recall a time the team played the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he “went off their a**” as he thought about getting back to Taraji P. Henson.

“I remember we were on the road for our longest road trip and we were playing Cleveland. And I went off on their a**, but part of the inspiration of me going back to see her and getting back to L.A., was one of the reasons I kicked their a** that night. I remember how I was feeling during that game and after that game. She inspired me.”

Despite all of this inspiration, he caught eyes for Khloe Kardashian. Lamar Odom added,

“Things ended with Taraji because me being an immature punk, I didn’t know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian.”

This isn’t the first time Odom opened up about his romance with the “Empire” actress. He said in his book Darkness To Light: A Memoir:

“We ended up exchanging numbers. She was just such a wise woman that she could see through whatever smooth act I was trying to put on. She refused to be just another conquest, and truthfully, I didn’t want her to be.”

“We started secretly dating and quickly fell in love. She introduced me to her fourteen-year-old son, Marcel, and was at my house nearly every day. Sometimes she’d bring some of her Hollywood friends, like actress Sanaa Lathan who starred in Love And Basketball.”

He added it was,

“one of the happiest times of my life. I don’t think I ever connected with another black woman as deeply as I did Taraji. Things were amazing, but of course, God gave me a layup and I blew it.”

After Henson, he married Kardashian in 2009, just weeks after they met. Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013. He went public with his relationship with Parr earlier this year.
