Colin Kaepernick Teases New Line With Nike
Colin Kaepernick might not be in the NFL anymore but he stays working.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback teased a new apparel line that he inked with Nike recently.
He shared a video on his Instagram page, giving fans a closeup of a pair of all-black shoes that feature Colin Kaepernick’s silhouette (along with his notable afro), and the letter K.

He also confirmed the campaign name, #True To 7″, a nod to the number of his jersey he rocked while in the NFL.
Nike released a statement on the new line, according to Yahoo! Sports:
“We believe that Colin Kaepernick is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward. The jersey marks Nike’s continued product collaboration with Colin.”
Nike also released the True to 7 Kaepernick jersey back in February.
The brand’s IG read back then,
“In celebration of those searching for truth in their communities, and those who are true to themselves on and off the field, we introduce the #7 jersey. #trueto7“
