While continuing to mourn the deaths of her husband Kobe Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna, Vanessa Bryant shares a special milestone of the couple’s youngest daughter 7-month old, Capri Bryant.
In the video shared over the weekend (Feb. 8th), the mother of four captured a heartwarming family moment of the toddler learning how to stand on her own two feet. As the 7 month-old takes to her feet, Kobe’s sister, Sharia Bryant helps her niece who flashes the camera with a familiar smile. Vanessa writes how much she reminds her of Capri’s late father and sister,
“My Koko Bean. She looks just like my Gigi with her daddy’s eyes.”

The touching video of Capri comes three days after Harbor Day School retired her older sister Gianna’s basketball jersey.
Reportedly, Vanessa requested items from countless fans to be cataloged and shipped to the family.
Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti confirmed that a memorial was being planned in honor of Kobe, as well as the eight other victims of the crash. He tells the LA Times,
“I think one message that I would say is this is not just about a man who was a basketball player, this is about a father, this is about a leader, this is about a filmmaker, this is about an artist, this is about somebody who was so much more than just how he was on the court.”
He adds,
“It’s a reminder how much unity we have, though. We are one city that believes in each other, believes in something bigger than ourselves and we will absolutely do everything to make sure that this is done so that everybody can come to it as well
As previously reported, The memorial details have been released for the Lakers legend and Gianna. According to reports, their service will be held the morning of Feb. 24 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Kobe, Gianna and seven others died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on January 26th. They were headed to Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks for Gianna’s team’s game. No cause for the crash has been determined as preliminary reports by the National Transportation Safety Board is expected in the near future, according to reports.
