Whitney Houston’s Hologram Makes TV Debut On British Morning Show

Whitney Houston’s hologram is an official thing. It actually made an appearance on a British morning show, “This Morning”, which airs on ITV and STV. The daily series revealed the hologram on social media with a GIF and the caption that teased the hologram’s upcoming tour, “An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour”.

Whitney’s sister-in-law and former manager Pat Houston supports the hologram and said Whitney Houston would too.

She said, according to Rolling Stone, 

“We had a discussion about her doing ‘Whitney Unplugged’ or some type of ‘Evening with Whitney,’ and that was really her idea. It’s a dream that was realized by her. So that’s the production. This isn’t something that we’re just putting together. This is something that she wanted to do, and I get very emotional watching this because it is so close to what she wanted. The only thing missing was her, physically.”

She added,

“It’s primarily just paying homage to her legacy. How many times can you just hear the same song over and over? This is a new way to experience the music. Realistically, it’s all about the Whitney experience. She preferred doing small shows, and it was something she couldn’t really do when she was alive. People need to understand, no one is trying to recreate our Whitney. This is a show to celebrate her music and introduce her to people who never got to see her live.”

The hologram tour will kick off on Feb. 25.
