Dr. Oz Is Taping Show From Home, After Staffer Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Dr. Oz (real name Mehmet Cengiz Öz) is officially working from home. Today (March 10th) the 59-year-old physician and TV personality shared that one of his staffers tested positive for the coronavirus, so he will now tape “The Dr. Oz Show” from home.
He says on his staffer’s condition,
He’s fine I talked to him last night. Good guy. He immediately removed himself. We do shows on this all the time, so the staff was very well informed. As soon as he felt a little off, he left.
On the status of the show, he explains,
We’re gonna shut it down. We have had, I think, enough shows out there telling what’s happening and I finally built a studio in my own home so I can broadcast from here. I think it’s the sensible thing to do as a lot of hard-working folks… I feel proud of the team.
Dr. Oz isn’t the only TV host working from. This week, Whoopi Goldberg decided to co-host The View from home. See the clip below.
Should more shows consider taping from home, as opposed to halting shows? Let us know in the comments.
