Nene Leakes Urges Fans To Stop Chasing The Bag: Stay Home Where You’re Safe
Nene Leaks Admits She’s Missing Out On Money Amidst Coronavirus, But Says Her Health Is More Important
Nene Leakes has no problem doubling down on the importance of taking a break from her busy schedule to focus on her health; and the wellbeing of her family.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” vet shared her own reality of how the quarantine amid the coronavirus has impacted her income. She wrote earlier this week,
“If you anything like me, getting to the money is what you do and love to do. My home is actually like a hotel to me because I’m so in & out. Laying here in my bed, i have thought of how much money I’m missing out on.”
Nene Leakes reportedly makes $2.85 million from her stint on “RHOA.” The taping for the season 12 reunion has been postponed because of the coronavirus. Nene Leakes’ Swagg Boutique also has three locations around the country: Atlanta, Maryland and Miami Beach.
Still, she says that she has no problem prioritizing her health above money.
“My health is my wealth! Money can’t buy that! There’s this thing out called Coronavirus that’s changing lives and not in such a good way.”
She ended with,
“It’s important that you stay home where your safe. Continue to wash your hands, wipe counters, mop common traffic areas of your home and stay hydrated with water. WE IN THIS TOGETHER”
It’s no surprise that Nene and her family’s health are her main focus. She spent the better part of last season of “RHOA” dealing with her husband Gregg Leakes’ battle with cancer. Fortunately, he was said to be cancer-free last year.
