Drake’s Dad Dennis Graham Teases New Country Song
It turns out Drake is a chip off the old block. His father, Dennis Graham, was a blues musician in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee while Drake was growing up in Canada. But his son’s massive fame has given him a platform he didn’t have before! Dennis’ latest song, “That On That,” was released last fall.
But it seems country music is Dennis Graham’s first love. He took to Instagram Live to tease a song he’s finished amid the coronavirus quarantine. He told followers:
“Instagram! I wanna take y’all back tonight to my country roots. So I wrote a little song that goes back to my country roots, and I wanna play it for y’all. Here we go, baby…I’m a cowboy tonight!”

In a traditional twangy cadence, he sang:
“…everything was goin’ fine ’til I met this girl named Bobbie Jo / A guy came up to meet and said, ‘What you doin’ here?’ / And I said, ‘What? That’s not your business! Why you askin’, my dear?'”
As we previously reported, Dennis and his superstar son held a hilarious joint Instagram Live session last week.
