Toni Braxton & Birdman Are Getting Married This Year + Singer Says He Wanted A Drive-Thru Wedding: I’m Not Ordering Fries After We Get Married!

Toni Braxton will be Mrs. Birdman by the end of 2020! The Grammy-Award winning singer spoke with Atlanta’s Rick & Sasha and gave details on her upcoming wedding with rapper Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams.

When asked about when they’ll be tying the knot, she said,

“We have gone back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date but then it was getting too big. We didn’t want a big wedding, and then we said okay, we don’t want it too small. Then he said he ‘Okay, let’s do the drive-thru.’ I’m like ‘We are NOT doing a drive-thru, I’m not ordering fries after we get married. We’ve been trying to figure it out.”

Still, despite all of the unknowns, Toni Braxton vowed,

“We’re definitely gonna do it this year.”

Considering she and Birdman are rarely spotted together, many fans wondered if they were still going strong. Toni Braxton explained,

“We’re aloof…You don’t hardly ever see us together. When we were out, it was a lot of people saying things and I’m kind of sensitive. I can’t deny it. And I want to keep our business private. People can ask me questions, I’m fine with that. It’s just sometimes, people just have too much of an opinion, I think socially, if you’re reading on stuff, and I didn’t like that. So we decided we were gonna keep our life quieter.”

Birdman and Toni Braxton went public with their relationship when they accompanied each other to the BET Awards in 2016.

There was speculation that they broke up last year, but Birdman quickly shut down those rumors.
