‘Beverly Hills Cop 4’ Directors Confirm The Netflix Movie Is Still In The Works
Beverly Hills Cop 4 is still a go!
Directors, Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, confirm that the script is being written for the highly-anticipated movie. The duo, who is also behind the 2020 release of the box office hit Bad Boys 4 Life, stated that they are still involved with the Netflix project.
El Arbi said, according to Digital Spy
“There’s a screenwriter now on it that’s going to try to write a first draft, or a first treatment at least with the story.”
He continued,
“So we’re going to see what the first version will be, but we’re very excited and hope that we can work with another icon like Eddie Murphy. That’d be great.”
In November 2019, reports stated that Paramount Pictures has joined forces with Netflix to release a fourth addition to the “Beverly Hills Cop” franchise – and its star, Eddie Murphy, is on board!
The original film starred legendary comedian turned actor, Eddie Murphy, who played Axel Foley, a funny yet street-smart cop from Detroit who set on a mission in Beverly Hills, CA to solve the murder of his best friend.
Fans on Twitter have mixed reactions to the release of the 4x sequel.
One user simply asks:
“Do you want a Beverly Hills Cop 4?”
to which fans and non-fans of the classic responded.

Meanwhile, Eddie Murphy reprised his role in the upcoming release of another classic, Coming 2 America, which is created and starred in the lead role, set to be released in December 2020.
Recently, comedic actress Tiffany Haddish began trending on Twitter after a fake poster of Coming 2 America was released with the actress on it.
