Actress Taraji P. Henson,49, is serving ‘Black & Proud’ looks in her new hairstyle, a red afro. As the owner of TPH BY TARAHI hair cair collection, Taraji P. Henson has always enjoyed sharing her hairstyle and hair routines with her 15.9 million IG followers, and this look is no exception. Taraji P. Henson captioned her latest photo:
Hair that defies gravity!!! Hair that grows towards the heavens. #BlackandProud#BlackLivesMatter#RockYourFro#PickoutYourFro and #ThrowUpYourFist
Her ‘Black Lives Matter’ inspired look comes a few weeks after the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed black man killed while in police custody. His death not only led to the involved officers being charged with his death, but also to protests against systemic racism across the nation.

In April, Henson did a natural hair tutorial for her fans on IG. She uploaded a video to demonstrate how to use her natural hair care products, from her collection TPH by Taraji.
At home with Taraji- Real Love Routine. This is the real deal. I love my @TPHbyTARAJI Real Love Protein task. See how I’m using it to get some much needed self-care.”
In the video, she’s seen standing in her bathroom, applying her hair mask as she talked about its benefits. She stated:
“I created this mask with curly hair girls in mind because our hair needs a lot of moisture.”
She continued with her step-by-step process.
“I start off, scalp is clean and now I’m going to give it some extra love today. I add generously from the root to the tip.”
After letting the product sit in her hair for 15-20 minutes, she returned to her video to show the results of her mask.
“Every time I use this mask it reminds why I named it real love. It actually gives your hair the love, nourishment and moisture that it needs.”
