Eminem Responds To Revolt “I Never Meant For That Verse To Be Heard, I Was Heated In The Moment”
Rapper Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers III) is responding to Revolt TV after they had a response to the diss track that was leaked earlier this week. As we previously reported, a new leaked version of Conway The Machine’s “Bang” from 2019 has bars that feature Eminem taking shots at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ media company Revolt. He also slammed rapper and TV host Joe Budden. In the song Eminem raps,
“Shout to Puffy Combs, but f*ck Revolt,”
He adds,
“Y’all are like a f*cked up remote. Now I get it why our button’s broke. Cause you pressing him but do nothing though, especially when it comes to punches throne.”
Also in the song, Eminem addresses Joe Budden’s infamous standoff with Migos rapper’s Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff at the 2017 BET Awards. Eminem raps,
“Tell this journalist stick to the stuff he knows, like always running, from Migos.”
After the diss track came out, Revolt posted a simple message to Eminem on their Instagram page.
“F**k you too Eminem”

The network also released a lengthy statement:
“Why does Eminem, someone who is a guest in Black culture, think he can talk down to REVOLT. REVOLT is a BLACK media company, owned by a Black entrepreneur, with a majority Black team – that is authentic and real about this. With the immediate need for REVOLT to use our platform for the important issues regarding social justice, equality, and ensuring continuing to be the outlet – across ALL OUR PLATFORMS, we’re doing important work. Eminem trying to come for us is an unneeded distraction. It is not OK.”
The network added to their statement writing,
“REVOLT is busy putting in work: launching REVOLT Black News, hourly field correspondence updates, covering important rallies, as well as partnering with the NAACP for air their Black Family Reunion. Partnering to air the funerals of George Floyd and Rayshard Brooks, as well as President Obama’s remarks back in June. REVOLT is a Black business that is relevant and needs to be here, like all our Black businesses. We need to be supported to be the platform and voice of this movement – that otherwise wouldn’t have.”
They ended the statement with,
“What Em’s ‘mess’ could’ve done – is it could’ve harmed our business. Fortunately, it was a minor social media distraction, but the potential implications should not be OK. We’re busy using our energies, efforts and platforms as a Catalyst for Change. The real question is what is Eminem doing – other than being a distraction. If the diss was intended for Joe Budden why include REVOLT? REVOLT has supported both artists throughout their careers – and has zero to do with their beef with each other. And how did this verse supposedly and allegedly get ‘leaked’ anyway.”
Eminem has now responded to Revolt TV’s statement by placing his own statement on his twitter page,
“I agree with Revolt…this is an unnecessary distraction. I never meant for that verse to be heard, I was heated in the moment and thought better of it and decided to pull it back. Stuff that I never intended to release continues to leak from the huge WeTransfer hack. I don’t have any issues with Revolt…I’d actually welcome the opportunity to work with them on some positive things and turn this in a different direction.”
