Rapper Future’s non-profit organization FreeWishes Foundation launched the “I’m Still A Dreamer” COVID-19 scholarship contest in early July and the winners have now been announced! The scholarships are for incoming college freshmen who have been greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Now, just in time for fall registration, the six winners of the contest were announced as well as the colleges each had selected to attend:
- Ryann Phillips – Spelman College
- Sydel Idehen – Mercer University
- Alexis Thomas-Fitzgerald – Kennesaw State University
- Jaela Curtis – Kennesaw State University
- Khadijah Muhammad – Agnes Scott College
- Taia Galloway – Kennesaw State University

Additionally, it appears that each recipient was presented with their scholarship checks by Future himself at their homes along with staffers from the foundation including his sister Tia Wilburn and mother, Stephanie Jester. Each recipient also was presented with a gift basket with college essentials.
