Boosie Suggests Starting A “Free Bill Cosby” Petition, Twitter Users React
Social media users seem to be having a field day over a suggestion that rapper Boosie made on Twitter. The rapper who is well-known for his controversial behavior and equally controversial statements, suggested on Twitter to start a “Free Bill Cosby” petition.

The post has so far garnered over 400 responses, both for and against the idea. Read some of the reactions below.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Bill Cosby was deemed a “sexually violent predator” and ineligible for early release.As previously mentioned, the famed comedian and actor’s defense team had huge concerns surrounding Cosby’s health with the global pandemic due to COVID-19 at an all time high and spreading throughout the prison systems. Inmates around the country had been especially susceptible to the virus because of close proximities they were in, and Mr. Cosby’s team felt that the risk could have been detrimental to their client.

Reportedly, Bill Cosby is expected to serve his full 10-year sentence after being found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
Cosby was found guilty on April 26, 2018 and on September 25, 2018, he was sentenced to three to ten years in state prison and a $25,000 fine plus court costs of both trials.
