50 Cent Doesn’t Want A G-Unit Movie, Jokes ‘I’d Like To Forget G-Unit’

50 Cent, (born Curtis Jackson), has conquered quite a bit since his earlier days of rapping.  In 1999, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks formed G-Unit, and the group has seen some turmoil throughout the years.
But fans might not be seeing a movie about it. Unlike Hip-Hop biopics like Straight Outta Compton and Notorious that have been released, 50 Cent said he’s not interested in a G-Unit movie. He told DJ Whoo Kid:
“I don’t care to do that.”
He seemed to jokingly add,
“I’d like to forget the G-Unit.”

The rapper turned TV executive also said he’s becoming exhausted sharing negative images online, especially the ones involving law enforcement.

50 Cent also opened up about his thoughts on the recent shooting of Jacob Blake and shared his feelings on police.
“I see things, like different images and I snapshot it and I won’t even post it. I’m almost exhausted with with offering negative images of law enforcement.”

50 Cent continued,

“It’s almost like if you was going to be in the Ku Klux Klan or you had this interest to go kill people a certain way, you should just go into law enforcement and then just kill whoever you want to kill later…because you would be able to have that gratification and fulfillment there without actually being charged for it.”

Jacob Blake is a Black man who is now paralyzed from the waist down after being shot seven times in the back by a white police officer on Aug. 24, following a physical altercation that Jacob Blake was reportedly trying to break up.

The incident took place in Kenosha, WI, and a video was taken from across the street, showing Jacob Blake walking around an SUV as police yell at him with their weapons drawn.  One officer closely follows him around the vehicle to the driver-side door,  as another officer grabs the back of his shirt, opening fire several times.  Reports say that Jacob Blake was shot in the back. 50 Cent spoke on the situation saying,

“H shoots this guy seven times in his back while he’s trying to come to the car with his kids. Imagine that to you if you got two boys.

He added,

“Imagine you got out your car to go break up a fight and you just decide to go back to your car because it’s not going in the right direction.”
