Caitlyn Jenner In Talks To Join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Caitlyn Jenner, 70, and her live-in manager/close friend, Sophia Hutchins, 23, are reportedly ‘in talks’ with Bravo to join the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 11. Sources close to the two women have reported that Sophia, recently had dinner with Eileen Davidson, who previously starred on ‘RHOBH’. During their get-together, they reportedly talked about the show and the possibility of Sophia and Caitlyn becoming a part of the cast. They also discussed Eileen’s time on the show. Sophia reportedly received enough excellent feedback from the soap star that she decided that she is interested in being on the Bravo show. If Caitlyn Jenner joins, she would be the first transgender woman to be apart of the hit show.
Interestingly enough, rumors were recently floating around that Caitlyn Jenner’s ex-wife, Kris Jenner, would possibly be joining RHOBH after Keeping Up With the Kardashians ends it’s 14-year run in 2021.
However, during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kris confirmed that she would not be joining the cast. The popular mom-ager expressed,
“I would do it once in a while to be with my friend Kyle Richards, but as far as me doing a show like that regularly, I just don’t have enough time. They do not need a Kris Jenner on that show, they’re doing just fine.”
If Caitlyn Jenner joins RHOBH, this would not be her first time entering the world of reality tv. The two-time Olympic gold medalist appeared on ITV 1 series I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last year. She had her own spin-off I Am Cait in 2016, and appeared on 155 episodes of E!’s hit reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007-2020).
Although Caitlyn is most known for being apart of Keeping up with the Kardashians, she had years of experience being on Television. Jenner has appeared in a variety of game shows and reality television programs, including starring with Grits Gresham in an episode of The American Sportsman. In the early 1990s, Jenner was the host of an infomercial for a stair-climbing exercise machine called the Stair Climber Plus. Additional television and talk show appearances by Jenner include: Nickelodeon’s made-for-TV film Gym Teacher: The Movie as well as episodes of Murder, She Wrote, the Lingo Olympic Winners episode, and talk shows such as Hannity and season 1, episode 21 of The Bonnie Hunt Show in 2008.
