Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York” has a new face, and it’s making history.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” previously brought on actress Garcelle Beauvais as the first black cast member, and “RHONY” is following suit.

Eboni K. Williams is officially “RHONY’s” newest housewife, making her the first black star for the series.
She said in a statement:
“NYC is filled with successful and dynamic Black women. I’m excited to join this legendary franchise as the first Black housewife. Can’t wait to share a slice of life in this city that hasn’t been seen before. Anyone who’s aware of my work knows I don’t hold back. I’m going to keep it just as real here as I do everywhere else.”

She’s previously brought her hosting talents to Fox Sports, NBA 2K, Fox News Channel, and more.
It was previously reported that Bershan Shaw would be added to the show as well. She’s a motivational speaker who has beat cancer twice and has reportedly rubbed elbows with celebrities like Kris Jenner, Robin Roberts, and Hillary Clinton. She’s said to be filming with the cast for the upcoming 13th season as well.
