Travis Scott Says He’s Raising Daughter Stormi To Be A Strong Black Woman
Rapper Travis Scott is setting out to teach his 2-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, to be a strong Black woman in a climate where many women still fight to get their voices heard.
Travis Scott recently opened up about raising his daughter that he shares with his on-again-off-again girlfriend, business woman and reality star, Kylie Jenner, explaining that
“I feel like it’s way more important now to protect our young Black daughters, women.”

He continued with his intentions,
“Making sure they have the knowledge of just how to carry yourself, how to move in this world, how to be strong, how to not even be scared to take that risk on any idea.”
Risk taking in is something Stormi’s parents know a little bit about. Kylie Jenner launched her company Kylie Cosmetics, formerly known as Kylie Lip Kits, in Nov. 2015 and quickly rose to fame as one of the most popular cosmetic brands on the market.

Travis Scott, on the other hand, has become a chart-topping music artist with records like “Sicko Mode” featuring Drake and “Franchise” ft. Young Thug and M.I.A. that landed him on Billboard 100’s #1 spot.
According to Travis,
“Now, more than ever, it’s like they have the vision. Whether it’s for anything a man can do, anything a woman can do. They got the pure vision. You know what I”m saying? So it’s just all about that.”
