Donald Trump Slams Lebron James, Calls Him A ‘Nasty Spokesman’ And A ‘Hater’
Donald Trump did not hold back when sharing his thoughts on NBA player Lebron James. During an interview on Friday (Oct.9), Trump criticized Lebron James for being a supporter of the Democratic Party and The Black Lives Matter movement. Trump said,
“LeBron is a spokesman for the democratic party and a very nasty spokesman. Because, again, I’ve done so much for the Black community and people don’t wanna see that and he’s a great basketball player but people don’t wanna see a guy that way. They don’t want to see that. We have enough difficulty during the week, you don’t wanna sit down watching a basketball game and then watch somebody that hates your guts, okay, He’s a hater.”

Ironically, these remarks come just hours before Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the finals.
Lebron James has never been a fan of Donald Trump. In August of this year, Trump said he wouldn’t watch NBA games amid controversy after NBA players said they would kneel during the National Anthem after the killing of George Floyd. In response, Lebron said,
“I really don’t think the basketball community are sad about losing his viewership, him viewing the game.– And that’s all I got to say.”
