Lil Wayne Is All Smiles While Posing With Trump: We Had A Great Meeting

Lil Wayne Reveals He Met With President Trump
It appears that Lil Wayne is the latest celebrity to meet with President Donald Trump. On October 29, Lil Wayne revealed that he met with the current President. He tweeted:
“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done. “

Shortly after President Donald Trump re-tweeted the tweet, though he did not include any additional comment.
President Trump’s Platinum Plan for black Americans, released on September 25th, 2020, is meant to “uplift Black communities across the country through a $500 billion investment” according to donaldjtrump.com. In doing so, the plan also wants to help the black community with methods to:
“increase access to capital, fuel Black-owned businesses, cut taxes, increase education opportunities, lower the cost of healthcare, further criminal justice reform, make Juneteenth a National Holiday, prosecute the KKK and ANTIFA as terrorist organizations, and make lynching a national hate crime.”
The plan comes following a presenting of rapper Ice Cube’s plan called the Contract with Black America. The plan was presented to both candidates, with the Trump campaign making amendments into existing plans and the Biden- Harris campaign saying they would take a closer look post-election.
Many have called the President out for his apparent shifting opinion in front of different audiences. While meeting with black celebrities such as Lil Wayne and Ice Cube, the President expresses full support for black communities’, yet in other instances–such as a national debate– refused to speak negatively against a white hate group.
