Queen Latifah Returns to TV With New Show

41-year-old singer/rapper and actress Queen Latifah (real name Dana Elaine Owens) is taking her magnetic character and humorous personality back to her own daytime talk show. The Queen Latifah Show aired in syndication beginning September 1999, but went off after only 2 years in August 2001. Well I guess she has more to talk about now, because the Queen is back! News hit the web that she will be hosting her own, currently untitled talk show starting in fall 2013. The show will be produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with Latifah’s own production company, Flavor Unit Entertainment and actor Will Smith’s company Overbrook Entertainment. Are we looking forward to a new talk show with the Queen or is The Wendy Williams Show sufficient?
