Nipsey Hussle Murder Trial Delayed At Least 3 Months Because of Covid-19
The man allegedly responsible for the death of rapper Nipsey Hussle has appeared in court, but won’t face a trial until 2021. Judge Robert J. Perry told Eric Holder in court Tuesday, December 1st that the murder trial won’t happen for another three months minimum because of Covid-19.

According to court documents, Judge Perry told Eric Holder:
“Mr. Holder, I don’t know what to tell you except that the court system and this county are plagued by a sickness that we call the COVID virus, and the court system has been very much impacted.”
A new court date was set for January 2021.

Holder was indicted by a grand jury in March 2019 on one count of murder, two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. He was charged with the killing of rapper Nipsey Hussle (real name Ermias Asghedom) and the wounding of two other men in Los Angeles.

Nipsey Hussle died of gunshot wounds to the head and torso after he was allegedly shot by Holder in March 31, 2019. He leaves behind two children, Emani,10, and Kross,2.
