The venue was hosting an event called “The Black Affair” featured singer Trey Songz and rapper Fabolous, which definitely drew attention to the popular nightclub. According to reports, nearly 200 people were waiting outside of the venue hoping to gain entrance before it was shut down around 1:30 a.m. local time.
Singer, Trey Songz, who tested positive for Covid-19 in October, was seen promoting the event on his Instagram Story Saturday (Jan.16).

The event appeared to be a birthday celebration for New Orleans-based promoter, Larry Morrow. Morrow has already been receiving criticism on social media for hosting several large parties in Houston during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier this weekend, Morrow held an event at Clé nightclub which gained major attention on social media after videos surfaced of rapper Bow Wow performing for a packed audience.
