Update #1: Meek Mill has taken to twitter, seemingly saying that he apologized to Vanessa Bryant privately.
Original Story: Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, is speaking out, addressing Meek Mill. Tonight (Feb.22nd), Vanessa Bryant posted a social media message, addressing a controversial lyric by Meek Mill that references the tragic helicopter crash that took the life of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven others.
Vanessa include the lyric and question and wrote:
Dear Meek Mill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period.

As previously reported, Meek Mill received lots of heat after referencing Kobe Bryant’s tragic death in a song.
A short snippet of the track, which is reportedly a collaboration with Lil Baby, surfaced online where Meek Mill raps:
“Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”
